I have a confession to make… greek food is my guilty pleasure! I am full on obsessed!
All the fresh herbs, creaminess, and warm bread just make my taste buds so happy. In fact, my mouth is watering as I type this! If you have not had greek food you are truly missing out!
But let’s be real, pita bread isn’t always so great for the waist! So I was on a mission to make a “healthier low carb” option so that I could fit it into my diet more often!
Well, my friend, I hit a gold mine when I found this pita bread! They are called Joseph’s Whole Wheat Pita Bread.. The nutrition facts on these blew my mind! They are 60 calories, 2g Fat, 9g Carbs but you subtract 4g of fiber so technically they are only 5g Net Carbs, 6g Protein.
The only problem I have, is sometimes it can be hard to find them in stores so I usually order them on Amazon! Thank god for Amazon, am I right?
If you like Greek food, you are sure to love these pitas! The best part is, they are so low carb that you definitely won’t feel guilty about eating two of them!

First, you are going to heat up your skillet and spray non-stick spray! Then throw in your chicken and season it with Mrs. Dash Chicken seasoning. If you haven’t used Mrs. Dash seasonings before, I highly recommend them.
They are salt-free and honestly give your food so much more flavor! Cook for about 6 minutes on each side.
While chicken tenderloins are cooking, cut up cucumber, tomato, and red onion!
Once the chicken is done, let cool for a few minutes and then cut up into smaller pieces.
Assemble your pita, add chicken, cucumber, tomato, red onion, and tzatziki!
Viola! Simple and healthy lunch or dinner within 15 minutes!

What You Will Need:
-1 package chicken tenderloins or chicken breast
- 1 package of Joseph’s Whole Wheat Pita Bread
-Tzatziki (I used Cedar’s but you can use whichever brand you prefer)
-1 package of grape tomatoes
-1 red onion
-Additional Toppings: fresh dill, kalamata olives
How To Make It:
1. Heat skillet and spray with non-stick spray.
2. Season chicken with Mrs. Dash Chicken seasoning and cook chicken 6 minutes on each side (time will vary if you use chicken breast)
Note: As far as seasoning the chicken goes I don’t use exact measurements i just sprinkle some on each tenderloin.
3. While chicken is cooking, cut up cucumber, tomatoes, and onion.
4. Once the chicken is done, let cool for a few minutes and then cut it up into small pieces.
5. Assemble your pita! Add 2 oz chicken, 28g tzatziki, and dont worry about about weighing out the veggies, just add what you want with the cucumber, tomato, onion,
